One night squeezed a cyst, now it's swollen..doctor said it's not infected and it'll go away?

Doctor told to use warm compress on it(left cheek)...and she said it's not infected..and use ice on the swollen area and warm compress on the cyst and it'll go away? but i've heard that it'll come to a head..but she din't mention that...i am just really concerned right now...i am that type that really concerns about look..and this is prob the most embarrasing ever and i can't even talk to the girls anymore...or dont' want to.. left cheek, a bit swollen and a small purple thing...i just wnat the swollen to go down...and i'll never touch it again..btw what kinda of warm compress i bought one(warm cloth that you can heat in microwave) but it's not moist...i've heard you need to do with with wet cloth?...i know yo'd prob say i need to stop worrying but...my face....sorry..what should i do?
