Why did the Texans revolt against Mexico and the Alamo?!?

Texans wanted to live in foreign land without following thier restrictions, Meixco's..also, they believed they were above Mexico-part of manifest destiny..Tejanos(Mexicans fighting against Mexico) did not agree with Santa Anna's ruling-he was a dictator...the alamo was just a mission where Texan AND Tejanos died, lost the battle to Santa Anna
