Folks: Recently Yahoo informed me that their e-mail system was now protected by McAfee. ?

Does that mean I can drop my McAfee subscription and be equally protected by the McAfee offering inherent to my e-mail system? My security center on the Control Panel indicates I am not fully protected. I canceled McAfee but now I am beginning to think I should renew it. Would some of the freeware work as well?
