Is he emo?

this guy that goes to my school says hes emo but...idk. hes i orchestra (b) and streagihtens his hair. he ususally wears all black, but just jeans and a tshirt. nothing like what emos wear. his hair is naturally black. he listens to screamo and mcr and juck like that...he plays the guitair reeeeeally good. he told me hes thought about suicide but i think hes faking. i think hes hot haha. he dates preppy girls. so is he really emo?
